Mkii Pro Germanium Fuzz (ToneBender)

The MK II Pro is a vintage-style germanium fuzzbox, our recreation of "magic" 60's Sola Sound Tone Bender MK II Pro. Based on original scheme (three stage) but tweaked with NOS germanium transistors from USSR. Rare types of aluminum and films HQ NOS soviet caps were used for building this device. All of these provide a unique character of this pedal.

Added regulator of feedback depth and two selectable distortion levels changed by a switch.
There is also a trimpot inside that adjusts Q3 collectors current. It is capable of thick and saturated fuzz tone and singing sustain … as well as lighter overdrive-like tones.

Transistors:

Q1- MП20 (MP20) Hfe - 64 to 67

Q2 - MП20 (MP20) Hfe - 64 to 67

Q3- MП20 (MP20) Hfe - 99 to 140

Knobs:

Volume - regulates overall level of output signal

FuzZ - regulates overall level of distortion and drive

Deep - regulates depth of third and second cascades feedback- overall drive depth.

Switch: changes gain level of first cascade (Q1)

Power supply: With battery connector. Will run on a standard "Boss" type wallwart/adapter: 9v DC 2.1mm plug centre negative. Current draw 10mA
