Built at Gibson's legendary Memphis facility—the true home of the ES series—this guitar represents one of the finest periods of semi-hollowbody production. The Memphis factory has earned a reputation among players and collectors worldwide for producing some of the best ES guitars Gibson has ever made, thanks to its exceptional craftsmanship, carefully selected woods, and uncompromising attention to detail. The '63 Reissue faithfully captures the spirit of the early-1960s ES-335, featuring the classic body shape, vintage-correct specifications, and a neck profile that perfectly recreates the feel of the original instruments. Factory-equipped with Gibson's MHS (Memphis Historic Spec) humbuckers, which, in my opinion, are the finest PAF reproductions Gibson has ever produced.
