PRODÁMGretsch G6131G-MY-RB Limited Edition Malcolm Young Signature

For sale: a Gretsch G6131G-MY-RB Limited Edition Malcolm Young Signature Jet, in near-mint condition, imported directly from Japan.

This special Limited Edition model pays tribute to one of the most iconic guitars in rock history: Malcolm Young's legendary “The Beast” Jet. Gretsch has recreated the look and sound of The Beast as it appeared in 1976 with an incredible level of attention to detail.

The guitar came directly from Japan, which is why it comes with a Japanese domestic-market Gretsch case, adding an extra touch of uniqueness to the package. The guitar itself is in near-mint condition, having been exceptionally well preserved.

Anyone familiar with Malcolm Young's playing knows that it was never about complicated electronics or an abundance of controls. It was all about the character of the instrument: raw, tight, extremely dynamic and incredibly punchy, with that unmistakable AC/DC classic rock energy.

The characteristic resonance of the Gretsch Jet, the mahogany construction and the stripped-down, Malcolm-inspired specification come together to produce an absolutely authentic rock tone. It really comes alive at higher volume, but its distinctive character is immediately apparent even through a smaller amplifier.

Reference-level tone, excellent playability, and a visually stunning piece of rock history all in one.

The G6131G-MY-RB Limited Edition is far from an ordinary Gretsch. It is a highly collectible limited-edition model created specifically for Malcolm Young fans and serious Gretsch collectors. Its near-mint condition and the original Japanese domestic-market case make this particular example even more special.

A true AC/DC fan's dream guitar – equally at home in a collection or on stage, delivering the raw, uncompromising character that made Malcolm Young's sound legendary.
