Guitar Lessons – Electric / Acoustic

I offer individual electric and acoustic guitar lessons, tailored to the student’s level, goals, and musical taste. Lessons can take place in person in Slaný or online.
I am a conservatory graduate and hold a Higher National Certificate (HNC) from LCCM in London.

I also work as a teacher at a music school, which allows me to teach students from approximately 7 years of age (by arrangement), from complete beginners to advanced players. Alongside teaching, I am an active musician and songwriter on the Czech music scene and abroad.

I collaborate as a songwriter with Michal Němec in our band Krajina Ró, I am the frontman of The BladderStones, and I also perform with the blues and rock’n’roll band Charlie Slavík Revue. I am involved in several other musical projects as well. My experience from live performances, studio work, and songwriting is brought directly into my teaching.

Topics we can focus on:
practical music theory
guitar technique and tone
improvisation
chords, harmony, and rhythm
slide guitar techniques and open tunings (Open D, Open E, Open G)
specific genres and songs (blues, funk, rock, jazz, etc.)
songwriting – composition, riffs, lyrics, arrangements, charts
preparation for conservatory entrance exams / auditions
gear talk – choosing a guitar, amp, effects, building a pedalboard
